B Vitamins

  • All of the B vitamins have essential nutrients* and are water-soluble.
  • Vitamin B3, also known as niacin, is found in animal foods, nuts, legumes, grains and fortified foods such as breads and cereals.
  • Vitamin B5, also known as pantothenic acid, can be found in many foods like eggs, milk, beef, poultry, seafood, whole grains, peanuts and mushrooms.
  • Vitamin B6 can be found in meat, fish, chickpeas and fortified cereals.
  • Vitamin B7, also known as Biotin. Foods containing vitamin B7 include vegetables (spinach, broccoli, sweet potatoes), seeds and nuts, meat, fish and eggs.
  • Vitamin B9, or folate, is important for your cells to divide.* It can be found in beef liver, vegetables, fruits and fruit juices, nuts, beans, peas, and enriched (bread, flour) and fortified (breakfast cereals) foods
